Autism Spectrum Understanding Workshop
Duration:
15 minutes
$350.00
When my son was first diagnosed, I sat through many presentations that described autism in charts and checklists but did not sound anything like the boy sitting next to me. The Autism Spectrum Understanding Workshop is my answer to that gap.
In this interactive session, I blend lived experience with current knowledge to paint a fuller picture of autistic traits-how sensory processing, communication, and social interaction can look in real classrooms, families, and workplaces. Instead of focusing on "fixing" behaviors, I invite participants to ask, "What is this behavior trying to tell me?"
Through activities, video clips, and stories, we practice practical strategies: visual supports, predictable routines, flexible communication options, and regulation-friendly environments. Educators, caregivers, and support staff leave with a clearer lens and specific ideas they can implement immediately.
The workshop can be adapted for schools, community groups, or mixed audiences new to autism or ready to deepen their understanding.
